The Government of Canada has committed to 700,000 grants of up to $5,000 to help homeowners improve the energy efficiency of their homes. The following retrofits are eligible under this program:

• Home insulation
• Air sealing
• Windows and doors
• Thermostats
• Heating
  • Ground source heat pumps
  • Air and cold climate heat pumps
  • Domestic hot water equipment
• Renewable energy systems
• Resiliency measures

A pre- and post-renovation energy evaluation is required to qualify for the grants, you will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $600 for the energy evaluation.
