Our collaboration with the builder led to a fantastic result: securing their $15,000 Fortis New Home Program rebate. We started by working on their initial plans to complete the Step Code 4 Energy Compliance modeling. We then leveraged the complimentary Mechanical Design Offer available to BC builders through Fortis. This offer helps design high-efficiency heating/cooling systems at no cost to the builder and serves as an added incentive to achieve either Step Code 4 or 5. By providing these valuable, free design options, we encouraged the builder to commit to superior efficiency. Their dedication paid off: they followed our recommendations to achieve a superb Air Change result of 1.06 ACH and qualified for the $15,000 rebate by meeting Step Code 4 requirements.
