The Maplecourt Apartments development comprises three four-storey multi-unit residential buildings (Buildings A, B, and C in Regina, SK. Each building was modeled individually for NECB 2020 Part 8 compliance using the performance path to demonstrate energy efficiency improvements over the reference design.

The design incorporated improved envelope performance, high-efficiency ventilation (ERV systems), optimized lighting, and 95% efficient gas water heating.

The project achieved approximately 11% overall energy reduction and 12% lower GHG emissions compared to the NECB 2020 reference design, exceeding compliance requirements while maintaining cost-effective, practical design solutions.
