Acacia Engineering completed an NECB 2020 Part 8 – Performance Path energy compliance analysis for the Mackenzie Pharmasave addition in La Crete, Alberta. The project involved energy modelling for a new commercial addition consisting of three commercial retail units (CRUs) and a mechanical room.

The final design exceeded NECB efficiency targets by 4.7%, achieving a 37% reduction in electricity use and a 15% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, demonstrating Acacia Engineering’s ability to deliver practical, energy-efficient designs for commercial buildings in northern Alberta.
