This project involved an energy efficiency assessment of an industrial office space located at the Royal Canin facility in Ontario. The building, a steel frame structure on a concrete slab built circa 2009, was evaluated for improvements to its envelope, mechanical, and electrical systems. Through energy modelling and analysis, several energy conservation scenarios were proposed. Results showed potential energy savings of up to 78% and utility cost savings of up to 70% with the integration of an HRV system and photovoltaic panels.
