We performed an energy audit for the Dimplex production facility to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency through targeted conservation measures. The assessment included a utility analysis, a review of the existing building envelope, mechanical systems, and lighting, as well as the development of energy conservation strategies supported by energy modeling.

The utility analysis established a baseline consumption of 920,000 kWh/year for electricity and 10,010 GJ/year for natural gas, aligning with seasonal heating demands. The building envelope was found to be in generally good condition, with no upgrades recommended. Mechanical system improvements were identified, particularly for heating and ventilation. Although the facility uses LED lighting, enhancements to lighting controls were proposed to further optimize performance.
