Carlisle Multi-Unit Residential Development
This impressive multi-unit residential project in Carlisle features three residential buildings along with a dedicated amenities building that includes a fitness centre and shared community spaces.
Each suite is equipped with a dedicated Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), designed to provide efficient, individually controlled ventilation. The HRVs are fully concealed within the suites to maintain a clean, modern aesthetic while ensuring high indoor air quality and occupant comfort.
Heating throughout the complex is provided by a central hydronic system, powered by high-efficiency condensing boilers located in the main mechanical room. These boilers also supply the indirect domestic hot water heating systems, ensuring consistent and energy-efficient performance across the entire site. Select suites also include split air-conditioning systems to provide additional localized cooling where needed.
The underground parkade has been designed in accordance with ASHRAE 62 and the Industrial Ventilation Manual, as well as the National Building Code (Alberta Edition). The system includes precisely calculated ventilation rates with integrated carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) detection for occupant safety.
Hallway pressurization and ventilation are managed by a rooftop unit, providing balanced airflow and maintaining proper building pressurization.
Our design scope included complete HVAC and plumbing systems for all three residential buildings, the amenities building, and the full parkade—ensuring seamless integration, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability across the entire complex.
